I'm 27 years old, from Syria , currently residing in Alabama, USA for the purpose of postgraduate medical residency training in Pathology . I got my MD Degree from the Aleppo University Faculty of Medicine in 1995. I am originally from the city of As-Sweida in Southern Syria (click here to see where that is) despite the fact that I lived all my life in Aleppo. I am currently in my third postgraduate year in the Department of Pathology in the University of Alabama @ Birmingham (UAB) Medical Center, after having done my internship in the University of Rochester , Rochester, NY . Back home I also did an internship in Dermatology upon graduation , and during that year I passed the USMLE examinations(in Ankara, Turkey) to get my ECFMG certificate in order to be accepted in a residency here .
